First off- this book is addictive! Depending on your reading pace, I recommend setting aside 2-4 days because this book will devour your attention. Hard Hitter is a sizzling hot romance about two lovers who were best friends during childhood, and while a series of circumstances separated them over time, fate brought them back together. Quinn & Raelyn’s is a passionate love that we all yearn for and it’s obvious their fire isn’t burning out any time soon. You’ll laugh out loud, swoon, and maybe want to throw the book across the room at some point- but I mean that in the best way possible. You’ll be feeling all the feels. I highly recommend putting this at the very top of your TBR list, and get ready for what else this new author has coming!

I loved Hard Hitter by Kaylee Losey! This is a story about two friends, Rae and Quinn, who have known each other for over 20 years and been in love with each other for most of that time, but couldn't risk losing their friendship if they didn't work out. The banter in this book is so real-life laugh-out-loud funny. It just makes me smile when I think about the ease between all of the characters and how real their relationships were. It's not rom-com funny, but that's okay. This book could be the ultimate friends to lovers plus second chance love story, and for sure one of my favorites of the year! Both Rae and Quinn have to overcome their insecurities and misunderstandings to get to their happy ever after. I just can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this book! Five stars...or more if I could!

Hard Hitter is a sweet, spicy and funny second chance love story that is captivating from the start. And did I mention spice?? It is off the charts!!! Raelyn and Quinn were enthralling from the start. They each have depth and I love seeing that on the page. Each character is absolutely charming. Imagine what they could be like together?!? The key characters around the couple, they were divine!! Her dad is so fun and quirky :) Some of their friends really stand out throughout the book as well. The novel is written in flashbacks throughout the book in perfect timing and I loved it!!! The author worked the past into the present seamlessly. This book was full of passion, anger, happiness and everything in between. This is a book to definitely make time to read. It’s worth it.
